تأسس معهد إيران أمواج الإلكتروني عام 1993 تحت رقم التسجيل 7490 في طهران على يد مجید شکوری بالتعاون مع خبراء بصريات (كاميرات المراقبة).
وقد تمكن حتى الآن في العديد من مشاريع الأمن الإلكتروني (كاميرات الدائرة المغلقة وأنظمة التحكم في الوصول والراديو) من إيصال الأنظمة المذكورة إلى صاحب العمل بشكل مناسب على مستوى الدولة وفي المراكز السرية وغيرها.
